Helen M. Brennan Helen Brennan has been a paralegal with the firm since 1990.
Ms. Brennan's duties include assisting with lien trials and conferences, the preparation of settlement documents, pre-appearance review of files, performing legal research, preparing objections to lien claims of record, negotiating with lien claimants and drafting, under the direction of the handling attorney, Petitions and Motions. In addition she deals directly through telephone contact and correspondence with lien claimants, opposing counsel, and clients. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Brennan was a paralegal at several prominent law firms including Riordan & McKinzie and Chase, Rotchford, Drukker & Bogust. Ms. Brennan, born
in Edinburgh, Scotland, attended the Attorney Assistant Training
Program at the University of California, Los Angeles Extension
where she received a Certificate of General Litigation in 1985
and a certificate in Tort Litigation in 1988. The American Bar
Association accredits the program. She received her Bachelor
of Arts degree in English Literature from UCLA in 1984. Ms. Brennan
has served as an instructor at the Los Angeles Pierce College
Extension in the paralegal studies program.
