Michael A. Brand

We are very pleased to have recruited Michael A. Brand as an associate with our firm. Before his hire, dozens of resumes were reviewed and rejected because none of those candidates met the high standards and potential that we have always insisted upon and that we know are demanded by our knowledgeable and highly selective clients. His journey to become a part of our firm started in a suburb of Buffalo, New York where he was born. Through his formative years, Mr. Brand acquired a sense of responsibility, commitment and purpose while developing his talent for interpersonal relations.

In order to pursue higher education, Mr. Brand moved to California to attend the University of Southern California, Marshall School Of Business. While completing his undergraduate degree studies Mr. Brand traveled overseas and spent eight months living in Milan, Italy, studying at the Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi. After that adventure and, having completed his undergraduate studies, Mr. Brand enrolled at Loyola Law School after which he was admitted into the California State Bar.

Mr. Brand has approached his work with great intensity in enlarging his knowledge base while putting his communication skills to work expanding his professional relationships that are so important to the successful practice of law. His intelligence and enthusiasm have been instrumental in mastering the arcane and complex elements of the California workers’ compensation law. Mr. Brand's affable and comfortable nature enhances the effectiveness of his ardent advocacy on behalf of all of our clients.

His demonstrated leadership skills and mastery of the growing technological requirements of our practice make him particularly valuable to the firm and our clients. Mr. Brand is currently admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court and the Federal District Court for the Central District of California.

From a young age, Mr. Brand has been a member and volunteer for the YMCA and now, in his limited free time, he enjoys swimming, golfing, training his 80 pound puppy and attending sporting events.
