Penni Bertonneau

What does a Valley girl who had to hold her own in a family with six brothers, survived 12 years of parochial education withstanding the baleful looks of Sister Rose Therese and her cohorts, stare down welfare queens as an eligibility worker at Los Angeles County, manage to develop interests as diverse as reading, walking, yoga and crafts (not done simultaneously) and end up as the assistant to the highest ranks of management at a substantial insurance company do for real adventure? Why, they become a workers’ compensation paralegal at our firm battling lien claimants and assisting the attorneys with their cases.

We are very appreciative of the intelligence, commitment, dedication and attention to detail that Penni brings to our practice. The totality of her background in many ways has prepared her exceptionally well for the type of work we do within the workers’ compensation system. She has acquired a substantial fund of knowledge in our exceptionally complex area of law and mastered the steep learning curve in a remarkably short period of time.

Her organizational skills and her professional and ethical commitment, combined with her motivation, make her an exceptional find. She excelled in her paralegal studies and that academic background, combined with her skills in dealing with people that were honed and enhanced through her lengthy service at 21st Century Insurance Company, has been of immeasurable assistance helping us in the representation of our clients. And, of course, that is high praise, because considering the quality of clients our firm is privileged to serve, our contacts are among the most knowledgeable and skilled in the business! We are very pleased to have Penni’s assistance as a member of our professional staff.
